HZ Electric Supply Welcomes Jack DeNote as Assistant Manager of Springfield Branch

Jack joined the electrical distribution industry during a 2022 summer internship at the CDC in Middletown, where he became intrigued by the supply chain and the sales process. After earning his degree in Business Management from Central Connecticut State University, he chose to begin his career at USESI through its ALPS training program.
“My professional journey basically started here,” says Jack. “This is my first full-time job after graduating college, and I was excited to explore a role where my studies and experience in supply chain management could really be put to use.”
In his new role, Jack will focus on reinforcing the team’s strengths, expanding market share, and promoting a collaborative, goal-oriented culture. He values integrity, accountability, and open communication, and he plans to implement regular branch meetings and one-on-one check-ins to ensure every team member is heard and supported.
Jack’s short-term goals include building stronger customer relationships and improving internal organization and efficiency. In the long term, he aims to broaden the Springfield branch’s market share by leveraging the team’s extensive industry experience and robust client relationships.
“Our biggest challenge—and opportunity—is to work together more effectively,” Jack explains. “I want to help our team become the best versions of themselves by leveraging their strengths and encouraging continuous growth, training, and collaboration.”
Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
